Community Solutions is a not for profit Disability Employment Services Provider. Sara lives in Beerwah, and also has an office in Beerwah (at the Sports Grounds, she was previously at the old doctors surgery at Fresh and Save). Her customers are all local to the area. Not only does she personally want to get more involved in her local community, but also wants to find and develop employment opportunities for her customers. Although called a disability employment provider, Sara prefers to use the word barrier. Disability conjures up images of people in wheelchairs etc, whereas her customers aren’t necessarily disabled, but they have barriers. Barriers like PTSD, or anxiety, or panic disorder, which might prevent them from getting in to the open work force without her help.
